My grandmother, Antje Kelderman, was born in 1891 in this windmill (listed in records as located at Achterdichting). Some of her brothers and her sister have birthplaces listed at Achterdichting, as well as some at Katham. Do you by chance know if Katham is a village, or does it also signify the windmill? I have seen the windmill once, with my father and my great-aunt Greitje, in 1961. I will be in The Netherlands in Sept. 09. I want to stay as close to the windmill as possible. I have reserved a hotel in Katwoude, but now think that the windmill is much closer to Volendam. Can you confirm its exact location???? Thanks so much!
