It's actually a bud of fuschia.

I just love, love this photo. The detail and sharpness of this marco image is outstanding. Would love to know some information on what this image is. The only thing you might want to consider is cloning out the lens flare dots on the top of the image that way your eye does not take you there at all. Other then that I give this shot a 10.
