The snake-eyed skinks are a complex of lizards occasionally referred to as "shinning skinks" on account of the way that they
move about. They don't like leaf litter or crowded environments and tend to forage on open rock faces and or tree trunks. They
are alert, intelligent little lizards which feed on a wide variety of invertebrates. This particular form seems to be found in the
stone country of some parts of Kakadu.
