This is a fairly common species amongst the woodlands on the North-west slopes of NSW. It usually shelters under bark during the
day but occasionally perches on slender branches, using its excellent camouflage to avoid being eaten by predators.
This male was found on the road at night where it risked being turned into a gecko bookmark by the traffic. Total length 120mm.
