Cryptoblepharus juno (?)

Kimberley Region, WA

This was one of the most charming little lizards I have ever met. I don't think it had ever seen a human before, and it really wasn't
sure wht to make of me, but after I fed it a fly it lost all fear, allowing me to take this picture with a 60 mm macro lens.
These skinks are superbly adapted for life on the rocks with exceptionally long limbs and a flattened body for squeezing into crevices.
I thought this was C. megastictus, and although it is much further west than C. juno is supposed to occur, it looks more like C. juno
than C. megastictus.
