Northern Spiny-tailed gecko, Strophurus ciliaris

Barkly Tableland, NT, Australia

This stunning gecko was playing Russian Roulette on the Barkly Hwy in the Northern Territory. The lovely eye colour helps break up
the pattern of this species while it perches on thin sticks during the day.
