This large species of frog favours clear-flowing streams with deep leaf litter. Unfortunately, where this one was found,
it lives alongside cattle farms where only the most inaccessible stream banks are protected, and during dry times the frogs have to
try to exist alongside cattle, which are larger and heavier and have no sense of decorum when it comes to emptying their
prodigious digestive tracts into the water where these frogs are supposed to be trying to breed.
