A common skink amongst the heathy vegetation amongst granite outcrops on the east coast of Tasmania, this species is also found
in Victoria and South Australia. Like other members of the genus Liopholis this is a communal species which may share its burrow
with other family members. They have live young and take about 4 years to reach maturity in Tasmania.
These lizards feed on invertebrates and some plant material.
