Pseudemoia spenceri

Kanangra Boyd National Park, NSW Australia

I wonder if the genetic phylogeny of Pseudemoia will ever be revisited? I have little doubt that further work will demonstrate that
Pseudemoia spenceri and Niveoscincus pretiosus are, in fact, sister species. They share remarkable similarities in ecology and
behaviour and P. spenceri is remarkably different from the Claireascincus group of species in morphology and ecology.

Pseudemoia spenceri often shelter together and they are arboreal, traits not shared by any other member of the genus, of which
Pseudemoia spenceri is the type.
