Impressive stone arch and barn ruin near Llanfachreth, Gwynedd, North Wales
Known as the "Garreg Fawr" (large stone) it was erected by the Nannau family, the landed gentry of the parish. The stone lintel forming the head of the arch was transported from Harlech, about 25 miles away. Apparently it weighs about 18 tons!
