I wasn't able to see all of Zion National Park, because Ben was not allowed to ride the shuttle or hike the trails, and pets cannot be left unattended. But I had to wait at each end of a mile-long tunnel so that those apartment-houses-on-wheels could fit through. I had to circle the parking lot 5 or 6 times because half of the real estate was dedicated to those battleships of the highway. I finally sneaked into an unmarked spot. Don't you think the Feds could spring for a pet day-care? And don't you think there were a few yip-yap dogs hidden in the bellies of those whales? I wonder how many Fifi's have been misplaced in those caverns, some not found for days ("Where's the next gas station...what's that smell...?)
I've about had it with National Parks. It's a shame, because they're always beautiful.
