I heard the shrieks of these little animals while on safari in the Rift Valley, a sound that made my neck hair stand on end, and have always wanted to see a photo of one in the wild. And now I do, through your lens. Kitos pallion! It's hard to believe that something the size of a house cat is related to manatees and elephants, but apparently they are. This is a great shot, full of sensory "whiskers" and with even the pointed incisors showing. Wonderful!
