Creighton Mine, Ontario, was a mining town in Northern Ontario just a few kilometers west of Sudbury. The townsite was established in 1900, but never had proper sanitary sewers installed. When the company was ordered to clean up the environmental trouble, they decided that it was not worth the expense, so the town was razed in 1988.
