Winter slammed into Madison like a runaway freight train this weekend.
Today Dec 21 2008,is the first day of winter. We have about a foot and
a half of new snow blowing around and drifting. Temp as photo was taken
about -4 or -5, with wind chill of about -20 F. Overnight was much
colder and blustery. Most people are staying snug inside today. Not
too much activity outdoors. The christmas shoppers are out braving this.
