Yellow tailed black cockatoo.jpg

This monster parked on the top of a pine tree near our pool. It was very overcast. He checked things out before moving on. All 415mm were used and some cropping also occurred. Identification by Annie as Trev OS in Turkey. Thank you Annie.

Oh, Robaire, he is lovely! And you are very lucky to have guests like this one in your garden. I suppose he is the sort of Australian black bird just a bit larger. We have got those sitting on the nest in our garden. They are "a bit" smaller and not so exotic, but still nice as well. Well done for spotting this great cockatoo and thank you for sharing him with us.
