Galleria Noctus Illuminatus

Word has filtered down to the lower rank that there should be created a new galleria to coincide with the current Smart Light Sydney Happening but also to include any night photography which people may offer as time passes. Not surprisingly, this task has befallen the poor limping associate of our Leader, and it must be said that the early images displayed will be from Robaire who for the first time ever, has used up to and including ISO 3200 and then ended up with hand held slow speeds not a good modus operandi. However we are confident that more skilled work will follow as we spread the word that the second of two weeks is passing and indeed has almost passed. We are also looking out to display other night pics cherished by our many Other Mates and as distinct from our Galleria Solstitium works. Indeed the call goes out NOW for other works to be provided as this new galleria can only thus be enhanced.

Smart Light Sydney is a winter time festival featuring the work of local and International light artists. Linking low energy lighting installations with a walk from the Observatory Hill around The Rocks and Circular Quay to the Sydney Opera House.
The legendary British light Artist Brian Eno has lit the sails of The Opera House and this innovative display continues on buildings and installations as the walk proceeds. An elaborate recreation of the burning of the Three Bees a nineteenth century convict ship will be featured in Campbells Cove on the last three nights of the display. Fire Water will also include a newly commissioned score by Coda an Aria award winning band.
