Because I'm on timber decking boards, I've laid down some flyscreen to keep out unwanted red-backed guests from under the deck, then a 9mm plywood false floor and marine grade carpet.
Much more luxurious now!! It will also help to lessen condensation at night when the dome is closed.
Note that the flyscreen is also over the pier but it's got a lot of give in it so it will not transmit vibration from the deck to the pier.
