Large stand of DSV

By late June the dog-strangling vine plants are fully grown and some are even beginning to develop seedpods. The white stuff in the middle, is a big pile of dead DSV. The plants were pulled up the previous year and piled high. DSV grew all around the pile but not through it. However, a couple of years later, as the dead plants decomposed further, new DSV growth found its way through the pile.
