Good portrait of one of the One World Billboard machines for 27L.

One does actaully need full low winter sun to bring out these retro colours....
currently sitting at Gatwick being prepared for Fedex.
All 757's were withdrawn from use with BA by November 6th 2010.
A least BA were flying this Aircraft with these 70's/80's colours!!
There was a 747-100 also previously painted in a BOAC livery before retirement,
but unfortunatley this was never flown in them :((

This is the Caligraphy special scheme applied to the Gulf Air A-340,
seen at Dubai in MAY 2002 during a weather (fog) diversion from Abu-Dhabi in the early hours.
The livery ended and went to Gulf Air new colours in 2007.

'Wolfsburg'. A trial colour scheme making its appearance at Gatwick in the late 80's.
There was only one other aircraft ever painted in this livery, an A310,
but was never flown after painting at Hamburg-Finki-XFW.
