Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It's named after George Washington, the first President of the United States.
It is the only U.S. state named after a president.
I was invited here by Shari Sommerfeld, who has been an excellent hostess and has made my stay incredibly enjoyable.

In this gallery I’ll show you mostly the highlights of my visit in the State of Washington,
the nice city of Seattle, where it rains, but not as much as people say...

Seattle is a coastal port city and the largest city
in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
It is located between an arm of the Pacific Ocean called Puget Sound and Lake Washington, about 96 miles (154 km) south of the Canada - United States border.

Seattle is the hub and largest city of the Seattle metropolitan area, often called Puget Sound, which also includes Tacoma, Bellevue, and Everett.

Seattle is the birthplace of grunge music, and has a reputation for heavy coffee consumption;
the original Starbucks is located in Seattle.

..looks like you got a great tour of a beautiful state by an awesome host, Frimpong...we have to use our umbrellas and rain coats quite a bit here, but a consolation prize for enduring the rain is our abundance of coffee, good music, and stellar people like Shari...good journeys!
