Frimpong in Mountain States - by Michel Vincelette

I saw a cowboy movie recently and said to myself :
"Frimpong, you must go to see these magnificent landscapes!"

I decided to mail myself in a package labelled, "Cisco Town, Utah, USA."
What a mistake! It's a ghost town!...

Fortunately, a nice man from Canada,
Michel Vincelette, was heading in the same destination!

We travelled together for two weeks and I was able to see all that I have been dreaming of ...

I learned that the States I was planning to visit were grouped under the name
"Mountain States" since they are often at an altitude of more than 8000 feet,
I soon saw why they were so named!

...Snow on mountains at an altitude of 9,600 feet, as well as the dryness and heat of
Death Valley's desert at minus 200 feet (below sea level !)
The State Parks are fabulous to visit ... and the friendship that grew
between Michel and me is also a very nice thing that stays precious to me!...See for yourself ...

What? Is this really the Cisco Post Office?	But it's completely empty !	Everything is abandoned ....	And I'm kilometers from any inhabited place!
Don't know what to do now....	HEY ! Was sleeping, I guess! ............	Here Frimpong one needs a cellphone and reliable means of transport,,,	Michel,.. I found a Jeep !
Wow ! A Convertible ! My fur can't wait to be blown!	Look Frimpong ...	This mountain is a real beauty!	Let's go climb up there !
I'm thirsty!	It looks like it's on fire! ....	Look ..	it looks wounded!
Wait a minute Michel !	MICHEL ! There are giant spiders here !	I find Zion beautiful, Michel ...	Why the blue color in the rock, Michel ?
Well, now it's yellow we're dealing with!	Hop! A bath for you too!	Bryce Canyon Story	Wow Michel .... Incredible!
Never thought I would see so much gold!	Michel, you're holding me well, aren't you ?	The story says it's the worst place to lose a cow here!	Can we stay until the sunset, Michel ?
Bryce Canyon is high!	I'm flabbergasted	Please don't tell anybody I drink water! It's to change my breath a little ....	Guess where we are !
I fell in the cooler... was an accident, of course! !	Even though this is a ghost town,	On the Road... this scenery !	En route for Capitol Reef... This scenery!
Er .............. How come they're so big?	Quite nice this little farm engine seat !	Eh! Miichellllllllllllll Don't do that!	Scrunch Scrunch ... Capitol Reef behind me !
As in a Hollywood cowboys and Indians movie	- Frimpong�, you're facing a grandiose landscape!	But Utah is really awesome!	What? A four hour walk for this nine mile hike?
Colorado River ???????	Ohhhhhhhh! What a show !	Magnificent this snow-covered mountain in the distance Michel !	I can understand why they were looking for gold here!
Perfect for a cowboy movie !	A large private American ranch. .. Wow !	HEY Michel .. This is my inflatable boat!	Rafting down the Colorado River!
Glad to find you dry, Frimpong !	You know Garfield, Frimpong ?	These rocks have quite weird shapes!	Oh yes, now I see them well !
- Frimpong .. where are you ??????????	Michel ...	At Arches, there are all kinds of rocks!	Come on Frimpong . we'll take this alley
Peekaboo Michel ......	WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!	Now I see why Arches is named Arches !	The sun will soon set over Arches Frimpong
15 minutes later ..	Enough is enough...	That's all right Michel ... you can come on down..	Ah � the mountains of Colorado...
Mesa Verde	No wine with that Michel?	Dry, the Colorado, is it not ?	Like a dolmen !
HEY MICHEL ! The very first signs of the Grand Canyon	From here, we have a good view of the Colorado River!	This Canyon is miles long... miles!!	FRIMPONG ................ Get down from this tree!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pftttttttttt...... Going up and down the Canyon is easy for a bear in shape!	You're too reckless Frimpong .... I'll hold you from now on...	Michel .................. I want some MCDonald's ... Everybody eats some around here!	YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO Here comes the flying bear, the SUPERBEAR !
Uh ! The cars ... Why are they parked on top of the buildings?	Oopsssssss..... I just found something interesting!	My understand of USA culture is growing from day to day!	Hey , Frimpong, come here!
Bye bye, ladies...I'm Frimpong...you can always write to me	Do you need any help, Sirs?	But there isn't anyone on this route, Michel	I'd like to mail a postcard to my Staff...
Well, but it's not only because "Arizona Girls" is written on the sign ....	But what are those animals doing????	I'm Frimpong from London UK	Can you guess where I'm now?
