It has been a long time since I visited and I still remember these amazing images. The Olde Farm #288 is probably my favorite. Wonderful saturated intense colors, light and composition on all of these.

Fred, did you edit these images in a photo software program such as Photoshop? I just felt that the images right out of the Canon Digital Rebel could not be this contrasty, sharp and in some cases, with a color cast (as in "Lane river falls" ) as well. But, wondeful wonderful pictures!

eb2005 - my wilmot sunset is my thomas kinkade shot (with out the dab of paint to make it an original). I .....do all my own work as well. 5 different people have compared my work to Maxfield Parrish. I don't see the connection but appreciate the thought of theirs as well as yours. Fred

I really love this gallery of yours. It beholds many colours and many everyday simple things that you would never think of capturing! I'm not sure where to start, your New Hampshire gallery is outstanding. Being a New Hmpshire native I know those same places and have felt the feelings your are conveying with these pictures. You have a Maxfield Parrish blue in a number of your pictures that give them a certain warmth, Lane River Falls, Bay at Starr Island, and Riverwalk come to mind first. I'm quite sure Parrish would have been envious of the color you captured in the Wilmont Sunset and the Boathouses on Sunapee amoung others. You get my vote for one of the best galleries currently on pbase. Thank you for sharing these.

healthiest is correct. New Hampshire was last year the healthiest state in the country, beating out Vermont. This year somehow Vermont got back in first place. But NH has no sales tax -so we are still the best (except too many are moving here). !!!!!

Fred, As many other people, I am totally in awe of your work. The colors are unique; you understand how to guide the viewer's eye through the image. I've been looking at your images for half an hour and let's be honest, you have gone beyond photography, this is pure art. I construct abstract photos using glass and color is a very iimportant aspect in my work. You have mastered the use of color in art. Thank you for sharing.
