 Remove the screws that hold on the cover |
 Remove the back of the lock cover |
 Remove the spring |
 Take out the latch |
 Push the gold colored spring loaded cylinder latch down with a small screwdriver so you can push the cylinder out the front |
 Remove cylinder with key inserted so the slides dont pop out |
 When key is inserted, the slides should line up |
 Here is a look at the cylinder with the slides and springs removed |
 Here you can see a slight difference in the length of the slides. You arrange them so that they are flush when key is inserted |
 If you can't get them to line up right you may need to file down the slides with key fully inserted so they are all flush |
 Lock I got from an old bone yard bike. Yamaha key fits the cylinder |

 Reinstall cylinder by holding the cylinder latch down and inserting in the front |
