Franz Josef Glacier

A shot of the Franz Josef Glacier in the morning sunlight snaking its way down to the valley floor from the Mount Cook range above.

We had tried to visit this location the day previous but the heaviest torrential & persistent rain i've every expereienced meant that nothing was visible form this viewpoint.

The following day on our way to our next location we passed by again and I couldnt resist having another look whilst the sun was out!
