Springfield Bridge In A Fog
Today's weather forecast - "Air stagnation advisory remains in effect until 6 PM PST Sunday for the lower Columbia..and the Willamette Valley".
The result is heavy fog with no breeze to move it and polluted air, giving rise to a warning for us older ones and anyone with respiratory problems to stay indoors.
I went out long enough to get a few pictures. This is one of them.

Mikayla The Artist
Our grandaughter, Mikayla, is working on a project in 'Digital Imaging' at Lane Community College. I did this shot for use in her project, using the little SB-N5 Nikon speedlight with the V1. Not being a flash person, I was concerned about how it would come out, but like the result.

The trail on the other side of the bridge beckons.

Salmon Creek
Salmon Creek is about five miles out of Oakridge, OR. We had to travel an ice covered road to get to the park where this shot was made.

Jogging on a Frosty Morning
These joggers in Alton Baker Park were out in the early morning light. The ground is white with frost.

Another Snow Day
We had enough snow this morning to cover the ground. This scene is in the Coburg Hills along narrow McGowin Creek Road.
Farther up the road I ran into deeper snow and slicker road conditions.

Beauty In A Store Window
Shot this in a store window on this morning's latte run. The place is a very interesting antique store called "Vintage Revival."

Three In A Tree!
It was a treat to see three young bald eagles in one tree. Two of them haven't completely changed color, their heads are not pure white like the middle one.

Jayden Up Close
Our youngest daughter and three grandkids came over the Cascades to see us. Lots of snow and ice up there so we were worried. But they made it safely and we are enjoying them for a couple days. Now we will be worried when they go back over the mountains. This is our youngest grandchild, Jayden, on our photo shoot this morning.
No 'touch up' on the eyes, just the normal processing for a RAW file, using ViewNX2.
