Automobile artwork

Springfield, Oregon, US

A shot of the rearview mirror and a necklace in a friend's car. Since the background was a white building, upping the contrast helped to eliminate any detail that might have appeared in it and the contrast also made the individual beads shine that much more. Other than that, only sharpening and boosting the color a bit was done to the image. And it all happened just because I stopped to say hi while they were waiting in line for the pharmacy. ;)

All it took was adding a bit more contrast, which caused any detail that might show to disappear and made the image just right. The background through the windshield was a white building. It was exciting the moment I saw it, and I saw it only because I stopped to say hello to a friend.

Excellent! What was behind it to produce such a consistant white background?

Terrific work! I love the way the mirror and beads are hanging in space by themselves. Perfect composition, too.
