Take a walk in Delta Ponds and you will usually see some photographers along the way. I find it a great place for photographers to get good photographs of wildlife. And to think that it all started out as gravel pits for use when the I-5 freeway was built! Eugene Parks came into possession of these areas along the Willamette River and began a project to remake them into several interconnected ponds. They were highly successful and won an award from the State of Oregon for their work. Delta Ponds is now a most enjoyable place to walk and photograph.
