My Friend, The Great Blue Heron

This image was shot with a Nikon 28-300 VRII lens, plus Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 converter mounted on a D7000. Not as sharp as lens alone but not too shabby.
It gives me the equivalent of a 600mm lens, which is almost ideal for bird photography. I can't afford the Nikon 600mm f/4. :(

It looks like your lens setup worked pretty well. You can definitely tell it's blue as it comes in for a landing. ~V~
