Bald Eagle On The Wing

I saw a couple eagles today, one in a tree and one in flight. Both were in reality too far away for my 80-400. But I got a few shots of the eagle flying overhead that pleased me, although I had to crop to get get the bird large enough in the image. This is the one I liked best. It could be sharper, but then I could be a better photographer too. I was shooting directly overhead, handheld.

I like this shot with the blue in front of him otherwise it would look like he is going to fly into the photo frame. It's subjective I guess. I hope to get some shots of a pair up by Twin Lakes this spring. Nice shot!
