Not tack sharp but a neat image anyway. I like how it still has one foot on the reed. I didn't think redwings had that kind of speckling, unless its a young one (referring to Kens comment) Linda S

Vern, my guess is that this is a female red-winged blackbird, very common at Fern Ridge wetlands. Quite similar to the waterthrush, per the bird book. Regardless, a nice shot.
