Latacunga airport, in the middle of the Ecuadorian Andes.
The airport is situated in a valley 9200ft (almost 3km) above sea level and surrounded by high volcanoes and mountains, making it one of the more interesting airports to fly to with a 747-sized aircraft. At this altitude the air is very thin and as a consequence the airspeed of the aircraft is very high, resulting in a much larger turn radius with not much room to maneuver the airplane, resulting in a 'one way in, one way out' airport with not much room to play around
