I think this river is called Melaka River, which is situated next to St Paul's Ruined Church in Melaka. Melaka is about 120 km south east of Kuala Lumpur, where I live. This place is special in a way for it's historical background. The state was ruled in turn by the Melaka Sultanate, the Portuguese, the Dutch, the British, the Japanese, the British again, until Malaya (Malaysia) finally became an independent nation in 1957. For me personally, I like the simple lifestyle of the place and most of all the beautiful old architecture of the buildings!
