I was so very lucky, I won a 2012 Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight!
It was a Harley-Davidson & VISA promotion; I was the 1 winner of 141,794,903 entrants.
It's named the Forty-Eight as surplus 1948 military Harley-Davidsons were bobbed and chopped
to be a sports style ride. The 1948 bike was lower and had fat tires front and rear, much like this bike.
When I went to ride my prize home daughter Becky used my D3
and 24/70 AF-S to make a few memory snapshots. Here are photos
made at the receiving dealer plus a few made after I arrived home.
My daily rider is my 2011 Road King Classic, but this bike will be
a load of fun to ride too. It handles very well. The 1200cc 74 CU IN motor
and 5 speed tranny on this smaller bike really hauls ass! My 48 is all muscle.
I never considered winning as I didn't think I had a snowball chance in hell to win.
I promise to give it a wonderful, happy, loving home!
