Lakeside, Ohio & Marblehead Ohio area Pictures.

Pictures of the place where my wife grew up, and where her family roots are located.
We travel there at least once a year to relax after a long summer.
Lakeside was established in 1873 as a meeting place for Methodist
It is like taking a trip into the past, small cottages and where people still say hello.
A place for families and faith and respect for others and earth.
The collection is of pictures I have taken over the last 20+ years.

Your photos are great. You should write a book and photos of Lakeside. I was trying to find out the name of the grocery store that was downtown back in the 1950's. Not sure of the name of it. Do you know. Also there was a soda place across from the fountain restaurant. They served vanilla ice cream with orange coat on it. Can't rememeber if it was on a stick or not? Do you know the name of the place. Thanks.

Your photos are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. We went to Lakside every year since we were babies. However moved to Florida in the 1970s and have not been back. Would love to see Lakeside again. It is a lovely place to be a kid always. Look forward to videos and photos. My Aunt had a place called Dew Drop Inn, where you could rent a room or the cottage. But she sold it in the 1970s. What wonderful memories. Thanks again.

Spent many years vacationing with my parents at Lakeside, Ohio. My sister Martha played in the tennis tournament. Many happy memories there.

does anyone have any old photos of lakeside ...from the 50's...my parents own a cottage there and i have been going up there for about 55 years..i would like to purchase old prints of lakeside can anyone help?

Very nice photographs. I've spent 18, Fourth of July's at Lakeside and hope to return one day. We used to stay at my Grandma's cottage on Poplar Street between 4th and 5th.

I wanted to find a background picture for my computer screen so I decided to Google my old hometown of Lakeside Ohio. I was thrilled to find your photos. For a few moments I could swear I heard the soft lapping of the waves against the rocks. We moved in 1974 to CA and I haven't been back since 1993. If you have any pictures of the park, Putt-Putt, or Kelley's Island in the distance I would love to see them. Thank you for "taking me home" for a little while.
