These are 1/4 resolution (1/16 size) images from a set of 80 35mm slides. This is a typical old slide collection in that the subject matter and lighting is varried. As well film stock ranges from Kodachrome, to AGFAchrome (badly faded to red) to B&W positive slides.
The same image is show before and after corrections have been made.
With the process we use for image adjustments, they can all be "undone" or "re-done"
In the case of this study the sharpness was not optimized for 1/4 size images.
This gallery also demonstrates why I love old B&W film. Although B&W slides are very much underexposed, or thin, a little bit bit correction can recover a nice rich and detailed image. Particularly good for stone buildings and detail.
