This is the area where the city originated because of a natural spring which supplied water. The city provided public baths and public laundry here. The public bath was accidently disabled when they attempted to use dynamite to increase the water flow from the springs. Unfortunately, the flow diverted to some other underground fault and the baths dried up. There are two images which show the actual bath area.
