Teen Food.jpg

If you have teenagers at home you might have a pile of "food" like this too. I'm not sure how much food value this really represents, but I'd bet very little.

A few weeks ago a friend told me she cut a lettuce in her garden, but left the roots in the ground. Now there are fresh leaves growing. I wonder if any of this will grow if planted? How times have changed Jim.

Been there done that. Funny how your children's eating habits change once THEY become parents.

A Junk Food Junkie's Heaven! Is this stuff in your kitchen? .....lol
Maaike Huizer05-Sep-2009 07:08

When it's 0% trans fats usually means 3 cups of sugar instead LOL !!

LOL! Yep, junk food.....I still like it every now and then but not like I did! I think it stunted my growth! LOL!

What's wrong with it. Nice shot and some of us lived off this for years.

Oh, I see some raisin bran and special K back there, must belong to Mom and Dad.
Yvonne04-Sep-2009 11:25
We never had this stuff when our kids were teens, now they've got teens I fervently hope they save these for special occasions...but I'm probably wrong. Great shot Jim

a question of education...

Food value = high calorie, high fat & high sodium but teens love 'em.
Your raisin bran does provide some good fiber.
Where are the marshmallows to make Rice Krispies Treats? (my favorite goody!)

great shot and it is notable that both Quakers and Kellogg's started their companies based on providing healthy nutritious food...
Doug Cruden04-Sep-2009 06:21
Yep, there's a lot of calories in that little lot!

This is fun. Just out of curiosity, how long would this bevy of snacks last?
Linda Willets04-Sep-2009 03:28
