To fix or Not to fix...

We live in close proximity to a retirement center
and sweet natured people with good intentions have been leaving out cat food.
Yesterday we spent a good part of the day removing stray kittens from our barn
Some were dead and missing body parts...three were very bony but still alive
The local Humane Society is closed for the Holiday so we're spending a lot of time socializing, potty training, getting their weight up,
and just trying to get them gentled down so that they can be adopted.
It was gut wrenching...those brilliant blue eyes in tiny longhaired snow white...broken bodies
0ur pets give us joy & laughter...they comfort us at the end of a bad day...
All they ask in return is food and a warm dry place to sleep
But we owe them much more than that...

You would think that at this young age they can be fixed. He's cute. Too cute not to try.
