Four college classmates, six good friends from three locations chose Peru as their destination in 2014. With the help of Terra Explorer Perú ( http://terraexplorerperu.com), we flew into Lima, Peru and started this 2-week adventure. We had a blast, thanks to the outfitter, our guides Piero, Elias and Nancy! We covered the southern coast between Lima and Nazca, and spent a major portion of the trip in the Andes regions: Cusco, Sacred Valley, four days of hiking and camping on Inca Trail and the touring of Machu Picchu.

The food was amazing both on and off the trails.

We stayed at a local hotel chain called Casa Andina in Lima, Cusco and Aqua Caliente. They are all situated in the town center or city center, which allowed us easy access to the most interesting part of the cities.
