On the way down we avoided the handwire section by taking an alternative path, then found ourself trying to kick footholds in the end of the snow you see on the right of the picture above a gully. not nice. Still a great trip and one where I began to realise the truth about how children grow up and become the parents. My son was concerned about me and helped me over difficult patches just like an adult would with a child.
