Banff Springs Hotel, view from the room.

We got an upgraded room and 1/2 a bottle of champagne to welcome us. Great hotels the Fairmonts, can't say enough good about them.
Bow River in front, Banff Springs golf course, Mount Norquay in distance, lower slopes of Mount Rundle at right, Tunnel Mountain at left, so called because they didn't tunnel under it.

Tunnel mountain because they did not tunnel under it. For a moment I thought this was Notner. It seems a slight desecration to put a golf course there.
