Today was a very demanding day.

My head ached like hell, my HB was down to 7.2 and my platelets down to 9K. I received three infusions of blood and now, with the borrowed HB from the infusions, my head is much better.

It's day +8 and the MDs are telling me that I have about 12 more days to go - around day +20 should be the day the engraftment is complete.

Hey Carl,
Another member of my family has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer! Its been a tough week, but i told them about your battle and your amazing determination. I think it helped. You are an inspiration. My positive thoughts and prayers are with you.

You have to hit rock bottom before the journey back to the top. You will begin to climb UP! Do not give up, you have come much too far. Rooting for you all the way and waiting for more cat pics. Susan in Nova Scotia
