Float Building

The Times-Picayune, New Orleans, LA

This morning's newspaper had a great article on float building. I thought I would share it with you so that you can see the amount of work and the craftmanship that goes into building floats. All of the floats are beautiful, but some are works of art, the floats for the Krewe of Hermes are one of the many that are works of art.

So often the work behind the scenes is not thought of. Great article, Elaine.

Very interesting for those of us who have no clue how it all works. An amazing amount of work.

I read this one and thought it was such a good article. I'll have to show it to Karen.
