Located in Jacksonville, Oregon, the Table Rock Billard Saloon was built in 1859 when Jacksonville was
originally called Table Rock.
Jacksonville was founded in 1851 when gold was discovered in a nearby creek. Today, the entire town is a
National Historic District, and a fascinating place to explore. It is one of the best preserved 19th
centry mining and commercial towns in the far west. Still standing and generally in excellent condition
are about 60 buildings that reflect the entire range of architecture utilized in the West in the Fifties,
Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties. Most of these buildings are still used for their original purposes.
