It not good to fall behind the group and this fawn was rushing to catch-up with its mother and brother/sister....a pretty sight as we watched them cross the hillside. Fawn facts:
Quality of deer range plays a significant factor on birth rate as well as gender determination of a given deer population. Poor range usually means fewer births and more bucks overall. Good range is just the opposite.
