Pink cherry blossoms are abundant in the cities and gardens of Vancouver Island and always a
welcome sight. This was a domestic tree in a deserted acreage and the small pink blossoms showed
up brightly in the empty yard. The cherry blossom is an omen of good fortune and is also an emblem of love, affection and represents spring.
