When we visited the Primate House and the exhibit of Red Ruffed Lemurs really caught my attention. Not only were they a brilliant colour, with great contrast, they're eyes were mesmerizing. They were quite active and a challenge to catch with the camera. They live in deciduous tropical forests of the Masoala Peninsula in north eastern Madagascar, at elevations up to 3,300 feet (1,006 m).
