This was a family outing up a short trail to Twin Lakes which was mostly just one lake or rather a reservoir behind a small concrete dam somewhere around the 9000 foot level. Still, there were nice views of the peaks surrounding the lake and we were also able to practice our rock skipping techniques. A few snowballs were thrown as well. The very beginning of this little hike down by Silver Lake was highlighted by a moose which passed fairly close to us. We later saw a second moose as well although that moose was in a more sheltered spot and was not as impressive as the first. Without a map I was not able to identify the peaks seen here so they will have to remain nameless:
