These are some photos from a June 2004 hike up the Wash Creek basin to Fife's Ridge. This was a heavily forested trail with relatively few views out but the heavy forest cover proved protection from the rain and a sprinkling of wet June snow at the higher elevations. The views were minimal anyway with overcast skies. The rain helped give the foliage some nice rich green colors. Between 5000 and 6000 feet Fife's Ridge and Fife's Peaks were visible through the trees in spots:
