HAWAII - DIAMOND HEAD STATE MONUMENT

This is a prominent volcanic crater on the SE edge of Honolulu. It is supposedly the most popular hike on Oahu due to the location and the easy and short hike up to a nice viewpoint where much of urban Oahu can be seen. I made the hike in afternoon light in mid-April 2005. The photos:
